瓦尔特-萨穆埃尔成长于一个单亲家庭，他随母亲长大，后来他的母亲再次结婚之后瓦尔特并没有沿用继父的姓氏“Lujan”，而是继续用母亲的姓氏“Samuel”。

人物每升1级都会获得5个属性点，点击人物界面进行加点。
你可以依据自己的喜好把人物培养成攻击型、防守型、或攻守兼备型的经理人。

☆注意：人物的属性加上以后是不允许随意更改的，如果你不小心加错了点，只能通过洗点功能进行修改。 说到足球战术，你一定会想到那些耳熟能详的“二过一”、“交叉换位”、“长传中调”、“边路进攻”……而这些技能都将在《疯狂足球》里出现。
学会技能后你可以对技能进行升级，当然这需要花费一定的时间与金钱。

提升球员属性的方法有很多，比如让球员到训练场参加训练，而在比赛中，球员也有可能“顿悟”而提升能力最大值，还可以通过特训来提高能力的上限。至于其他的方法，就需要玩家去细心摸索了。 盯人（有最大值） 此属性代表队员盯人防守的能力与强度。
铲球（有最大值） 此属性代表队员铲球的能力。
盘带（有最大值） 此属性代表队员带球的能力。
短传（有最大值） 此属性代表队员短距离传球能力。
长传（有最大值） 此属性代表队员长距离传球能力。
射门（有最大值） 此属性代表队员射门能力。

比赛的属性是通过球员的3方面属性值综合计算得出来的，也就是说，比赛中大家看到的射门，不仅仅是技术属性的射门，也受球员自身的素质属性和基本属性影响。 耐力：影响比赛中球员体力的消耗速度，如果耐力越低，体力就消耗得越快。
体力：影响比赛中球员的跑动速度，会很明显的，所以最好回复满体力再比赛哟。
士气：影响球员在比赛中的发挥，也许会影响某项数值，这个可得看球员高兴了，所以，比赛前最好回复满士气。
如果将球迷协会升级满，还可以获得额外的士气加成，球员在比赛中的数值会在球迷的鼓舞下有意外的提高。
力量：影响球员体力值、爆发值等身体素质方面的能力，加强力量训练还可以减少球员受伤的次数。
爆发：球员瞬间奔跑的能力，通过训练爆发力可以加强球员的速度。
灵活：球员灵活度则能影响球员传接球、抢断、等能力，是球员并不可缺少的能力值之一。
平衡：训练球员的平衡能力可以避免球员在盘带、停球等运动方向改变之时，不技术变形，或使身体失去平衡。
反应：训练球员反应能力，可以提高球员盯人、守门等能力，是球员并不可缺少的能力值之一 盯人：后卫注重的防守能力之一，属于球员的技术属性，《疯狂足球》规定盯人数值=盯人*40% + 反应*30% + 爆发*30%，通过换算，你就可以知道该球员在比赛中盯人数值的总和多少。
